Several years ago, Benjamin Baugh posted this document, At Fifth Level, Everybody Rides. It generates fantasy mounts for B/X-ish D&D-alikes. It is a lot of fun.
With Benjamin's permission, I've adapted it for D&D 5e. I hope this is fun, too.
Let's call this a beta document. I'll be implementing it soon, and we'll see how it stands up to a little play-testing. If there's interest, I'll lay it out properly with decent proportions and hyperlinks.

My immediate impression is that I like the picture you chose up there, I love your layouts, and there seems to be a really good variety of possible mounts in there.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope that there are enough examples that if someone wanted something really specific, like, say, a pangolin, they'd be able to figure out how to cobble it together.
DeleteGood morning,
ReplyDeleteWhat site is this from? I love the ideas in the document and would like to read more from Benjamin Baugh
Thanks
This was posted to G+ back in the Good Old Days. I'm afraid I've lost track of whether or not Ben has a blog, and Google isn't readily offering anything up.
DeleteThanks, I did some googling too.
ReplyDeleteI did enjoy the mug shots that came up...
